ESL Teaching

Lisa Richter is a TESL Canada-certified instructor who has been teaching English as a second/foreign language since 2001. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, and has worked both abroad and in Canada, at private language schools as well as in non-profit settings.

She strives to make her classes communicative, challenging and fun for her students in a warm, supportive learning environment. She works with youth and adults of all English proficiency levels, ages, linguistic, religious and cultural backgrounds to help them achieve their goals.

Lisa is currently offering private one-to-one tutoring (in person or via Skype) in the following areas:
-General ESL (listening, writing, speaking, reading)
-Grammar intensive
-Exam preparation
-Academic preparation
-Business English

Classes are typically 1.5 hours in length, and are always customized to meet the needs of her students.
